He also noted that modern communication technology presents new challenges and urged the media to act responsibly and constructively in shaping public opinion. He stressed the need for adherence to codes of conduct regarding misinformation and propaganda and called for enhancing PEMRA's capabilities with modern technology and skilled human resources. Chairman Saleem informed the President about PEMRA's role and performance in regulating and developing the media landscape.
