Islamabad : 9th August 2024; Honourable  Speaker National  Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and Deputy Speaker National Assembly Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah have extended warm felicitation to whole nation  on marvelous and unprecedented performance of Pakistani Javelin Star Mr. Arshad  Nadeem  for achieving  Pakistan’s first individual gold medal, first track and field medal and the second time a South Asian who shared the honour to have a podium finish in track and field. They also expressed their heartfelt gratitude to whole nation for their prayers which enabled Mr.  Nadeem to  shatter  the previous Olympic record of 90.75m, set by the Netherlands’ Andreas Thorkildsen at the Beijing 2008  Olympics.They said that it is proud moment for whole nation as Mr. Nadeem's throw now stands as the sixth longest throw ever and the best in the world this year.

While expressing  his unflinching belief on the potential of Pakistani youth especially of youth, he said, "  Every Pakistani is fully capable to achieve wonders in all walks of life." He said that Pakistan is blessed to have such talent and inherent abilities which can lead Pakistan on the path of development and prosperity.  He also said that Mr. Arshad Nadeem has proved that realization of dream hinges upon hardwork and struggle.In his separate message, Deputy Speaker National Assembly Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah has also extended felicitation to whole nation on unprecedented performance of Javelin Stat Mr. Nadeem Nadeem in Paris Olympics.He said that the whole nation is proud of his achievement
