Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met with a high-level delegation of Turkish investors led by Turkish Minister of Trade and Customs, Dr. Omer Bolat.
The Prime Minister welcomed the delegation of Turkish investors visiting Pakistan.

"The people of Türkiye and Pakistan share exemplary fraternal relations that span centuries," said the Prime Minister.
"Türkiye and Pakistan are one nation with two states," the Prime Minister added.
The Government of Pakistan is keen on promoting trade relations between the two countries, the Prime Minister stated.
The Prime Minister mentioned that he had agreed with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to increase the trade volume between Pakistan and Türkiye from its current level to $5 billion annually.
"We are taking priority measures to achieve the goal of raising the trade volume to $5 billion annually," said the Prime Minister.
The Prime Minister directed the relevant authorities to provide all possible facilities to Turkish investors for investment in Pakistan.
The Prime Minister reiterated his invitation to the Turkish President to visit Pakistan soon.
The people of Pakistan are eagerly awaiting the visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to Pakistan.
The Prime Minister remarked that the visit of the Turkish investors' delegation will prove beneficial for increasing Türkiye's investment in Pakistan.
The Turkish Minister of Trade mentioned that the current investment volume of 54 Turkish companies in Pakistan is $3.5 billion.
The Turkish investors expressed satisfaction with the political and economic stability in Pakistan.
The Turkish delegation thanked the Prime Minister for Pakistan's extensive support to their Turkish brothers and sisters affected by the 2023 earthquake.
The Turkish delegation included Türkiye's Deputy Minister of Trade Mustafa Tuzcu, President of TOBB Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of DEIK Nail Olpak, President of the Turkish Contractors Association Erdal Eren, President of MUSIAD Mahmut Asmalı, President of TUMSIAD Yaşar Doğan, President of ASKON Orhan Aydın, President of the Turkish Exporters Assembly Atilla Yerlikaya, and Chairman of ALBAYRAK Holding Ahmet Albayrak, as well as Türkiye's Ambassador to Pakistan Mehmet Paçacı.
Federal Ministers Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Muhammad Aurangzeb, Abdul Aleem Khan, Sardar Awais Leghari, and Pakistan's Ambassador to Türkiye, Dr. Yusuf Junaid, also attended the meeting.
