He explained that the constitution and laws are clear on floor-crossing, and according to the rules, an independent candidate must join a party within three days. This rule has been given legal form. The minister questioned whether a member can change their party after submitting an affidavit. He also mentioned that two Supreme Court judges had raised important points and questioned why a detailed decision had not been issued even after 15 days. Tarar criticized PTI for joining a party that had no presence in the parliament. He expressed support for the people of Bangladesh, commending their resolve. He noted that the founder of PTI had compared himself to Sheikh Mujib and that the party had adopted Sheikh Mujib's narrative, declaring him a hero. However, when statues of Sheikh Mujib were removed in Bangladesh, the PTI founder changed his statement. Tarar accused the PTI founder of using Islam for political gain. He also mentioned that negotiations with Jamaat-e-Islami had progressed positively, with discussions on reducing electricity bills being part of their agenda.
