The meeting provided a briefing on the final stages and legal aspects of the dissolution of the PWD.
The financial package provided to employees retiring due to the dissolution of the PWD will not apply to those who have been proven guilty of serious corruption, according to the Prime Minister.
The final plan for the transfer of ongoing PWD projects to provinces and relevant agencies should be presented as soon as possible, as directed by the Prime Minister.
All final proposals related to the dissolution of the PWD should be presented to the Cabinet, as instructed by the Prime Minister.
The Prime Minister has directed that the proposal for age relaxation to reemploy hardworking and honest individuals with short service in the PWD be implemented.
The meeting was attended by Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Ahd Khan Cheema, Federal Minister for Finance Muhammad Aurangzeb, Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal, Federal Minister for Housing and Works Riaz Hussain Peerzada, and senior officers of relevant departments.
