The UAE's amnesty program offers a simple and direct way for overstayers to legalize their residency or return home without any consequences.many individuals without passports are seeking guidance on how to regularize their status. Social workers and the Pakistan Consulate have stepped in to assist.

For overstayers without passports, Ambassador of Pakistan in UAE Faisal Niaz Tirmizi advised obtaining an outpass from the consulate general of Pakistan Dubai .This temporary travel document can then be used to apply for an exit permit at ICP centers or online.

While Indian nationals can apply for a new passport at BLS, others should follow their consulate's procedures.

Process without paying any fines:

Once the necessary documents are obtained, overstayers can apply for amnesty without paying any fines. After the amnesty is granted, individuals have 14 days to either leave the country or continue their stay by providing an offer letter from a company.

The UAE's amnesty scheme aims to provide a clear and accessible pathway for overstayers to regularize their residency or return home without penalties. The Pakistan Consulate has established a dedicated helpline, +971 56 647 2721, to assist with queries related to the amnesty program.
