Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi are challenging the dismissal of their plea for acquittal in a case involving £190 million.

PTI founder and Bushra Bibi have approached the Islamabad High Court for acquittal in the £190 million NAB case. They have also filed a miscellaneous application to halt the trial proceedings in the Accountability Court.

In their petition submitted to the Islamabad High Court, represented by Barristers Salman Safdar and Khalid Yousaf Chaudhry, it is argued that there is no material on record against the petitioners that warrants a conviction. They claim that an acquittal was justified on merit, which the Accountability Court did not grant, and their request for acquittal was rejected. The High Court is urged to annul the Accountability Court’s decision of September 12 and acquit the PTI founder and Bushra Bibi from this case.
