 Azma Bokhari Criticizes PTI Ahead of Lahore Gathering

21- Septomber 2024..Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari launched a scathing attack on the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) ahead of its public gathering, asserting that the party's political influence is waning. She stated, “Today marks the end of PTI’s political presence in Lahore,” noting that only 1,500 to 1,600 attendees from Lahore had shown up for the rally.

Bokhari further observed that turnout was similarly low in other cities, mentioning that fewer than 3,000 people attended from Sargodha and other areas. She expressed gratitude to the people of Punjab for rejecting the unrest that PTI has tried to instigate.

Taking aim at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, she remarked, “Gandapur is arriving in Lahore using all available public resources.” She added a prayer for those making the journey from KP to the Lahore gathering, wishing them safe passage.

Earlier, Bokhari highlighted concerns about PTI leaders allegedly planning to incite unrest, referencing "leaked" audio calls. “No one will be permitted to spread chaos under the guise of politics. The PTI’s track record speaks for itself,” she declared. She emphasized that the events of Islamabad's previous public gathering are well-known, stating, “These individuals aim to spread terrorism in the name of their rally.”
