Islamabad—Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar extended his heartfelt congratulations to Mian Rauf Atta of the Asma Jahangir Group for his election as President of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA). Minister Tarar also congratulated Ahsan Bhoon, head of the Asma Jahangir Group, on this significant victory in the SCBA elections.
Speaking on the occasion, the minister emphasized the vital role of the legal community as protectors of democracy, human rights, and the Constitution. “The lawyers’ community has chosen an outstanding personality to lead the Supreme Court Bar Association,” Tarar stated, highlighting their contribution to fostering democracy and constitutional supremacy in the country.
