PTI decides to postpone Oct 15 protest amid SCO moot
Interior minister calls on Barrister GoharThe Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) decided on Monday to postpone its scheduled protest on October 15 amid the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation.
According to details, the meeting of the PTI political committee was held. On this occasion, the decision was made due to the majority of the opinions of the PTI political committee members.
Sources divulged that PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan had discussed the matters pertaining to the governmental offer with the political committee.
Furthermore, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi had contacted Barrister Gohar and offered the medical examination of the deposed prime minister.
The government had offered the medical examination of the PTI founder from the PIMS Hospital doctors.
Meanwhile, the government had not agreed to conduct the medical examination of the PTI founder from the doctors of Shaukat Khanum Hospital.
Earlier today, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter of the PTI called for the postponement of the upcoming demonstration of the party scheduled for October 15 at D Chowk.
Sources have said that PTI workers in the province have expressed frustration that they're tired of continuous protests and called for the postponement. The provincial chapter is in favor of postponing the October 15 protest.
