Islamabad Inspector General of Police (IGP) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi vowed on Sunday to arrest all the miscreants amid violent protests.

Addressing a press conference, Rizvi said, "We will reach every hideout of miscreants in Islamabad and apprehend every troublemaker." He emphasized that the recent disturbances were led by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, asserting that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) purpose was not about staging peaceful protests but rather aimed at chaos and attacks.

Rizvi further revealed that the miscreants employed every possible tactic to instigate unrest, leading the federal police to register 10 cases and arrest 878 individuals, including 120 Afghan nationals. He highlighted the involvement of eight active personnel from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police in these disturbances.

"We found slingshots, tear gas canisters, stones, and government weapons from the KP House," Rizvi stated, reaffirming the commitment of the Islamabad police to bring every miscreant to justice.
