Music Festival Held to Mark Pak-Korea Cultural Week

The Prime Minister's Youth Program (PMYP), in partnership with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, organized a vibrant Korea-Pakistan Cultural Gala at Liaquat Gymnasium. This event featured captivating performances by both Pakistani and Korean artists, offering a blend of music, dance, and art.

Federal Minister for Information, Broadcasting, National Heritage, and Culture, Attaullah Tarar, Chairman of the Prime Minister Youth Program, Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, Prime Minister's Coordinator, Badr Shehbaz, and the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, Park Ki Jun, graced the occasion with their presence.


Among the Pakistani performers, artists such as Bilal Saeed, Natasha Baig, Uzair Jaswal, and the Khumariyaan Music Band delivered exceptional musical performances. The Kiki Wang Taekwondo team from Korea dazzled the audience with their energetic displays, earning a standing ovation.


The Korea-Pakistan Cultural Week 2024 aims to foster the deepening friendship and collaboration between the two nations. As part of the festivities, a Korea-Pakistan Movie Day will take place from October 24 to 27 at PNCA, Islamabad. The event will showcase four critically acclaimed films, including the Korean masterpieces Ode to My Father and The Himalayas, alongside Pakistani hits Nayab and Superstar. These films will celebrate the diverse and creative cinema from both countries.
