‘Consultations underway to appoint white-ball captain’
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi said on Saturday that the nation was desperately looking for the victory.
According to details, Naqvi held a meeting with the Pakistan national cricket team following their historical series victory against England by 2-1. He expressed his thoughts, saying, “Giving the opportunity to the new players has reaped the benefits in the form of victory.”
“It is due to our emphasis on embracing the teamwork that Pakistan have emerged victorious today,” he added.
He vowed to encourage the players who will stage performances.
Speaking about the central contract, Naqvi said: “We will soon finalize the matters pertaining to the process of the central contract.”
He had also shed light on the appointment of the new skipper for the white-ball format, saying, “Consultations are underway in line with the appointment of the captain for the white-ball format.”
Earlier, the Green Shirts had clinched the series victory in the home shores after 44 months.
