Islamabad: National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has strongly condemned the recent terror attack on a Chinese convoy in Karachi, expressing deep sorrow over the loss of Chinese nationals. He extended heartfelt condolences to their families, affirming that the People and Parliament of Pakistan stand firmly with them during this difficult time.

Emphasizing the unbreakable bond between Pakistan and China, Speaker Sadiq stated, "Such heinous acts can never destabilize our strong ties." He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to combating terrorism, demanding that law enforcement agencies swiftly apprehend the masterminds behind this cowardly act. The Speaker also prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the attack.

Islamabad: On the ‘Day of Solidarity with Palestine,’ National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq expressed strong solidarity with the oppressed Palestinians, condemning ongoing Israeli aggression in the region. He called upon the United Nations to play an effective role in halting the Palestinian genocide and enforcing a complete ceasefire.

Speaker Sadiq highlighted the grave violations of international law, lamenting that over 42,000 Palestinians, including innocent children and women, have lost their lives due to Israeli bombardments. He also condemned the illegal blockades imposed by Israeli forces, stating that many injured Palestinians have died due to lack of access to medical aid.

Reiterating Pakistan's principled stance on the Palestine issue, the Speaker demanded the establishment of an independent Palestinian state according to pre-1967 borders with Jerusalem as its capital. He emphasized that resolving the Palestine and Kashmir issues is vital for sustainable peace in the region.
