Pakistan Army cadet martyred in terrorist attack on mosque in Lakki Marwat

A gentleman cadet from the Pakistan Military Academy, Kakul, was martyred during a terrorist attack on a mosque in Lakki Marwat while worshippers gathered for Maghrib prayers on Friday.
The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that the 19-year-old cadet, Arifullah, was on leave in his hometown at the time of the attack.
As the assailants opened fire, Cadet Arifullah bravely responded, engaging the terrorists to protect the innocent lives of those present in the mosque. Despite his valor, he ultimately embraced martyrdom while saving others from harm.
The ISPR’s statement condemned the attack as a cowardly act against worshippers, emphasising that such heinous actions reveal the true ideology of the militants.
It was highlighted that the courageous actions of Cadet Arifullah has exemplified the spirit of sacrifice and dedication inherent in Pakistan’s security forces.
The ISPR reaffirmed the commitment to eradicate terrorism from the country.
