Islamabad: Privatisation Minister Abdul Aleem Khan urged Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday to leverage diplomatic relations regarding the ongoing Palestine issue. His remarks came during the All-Parties Conference (APC), where he emphasized the need for unity among Islamic nations in addressing the situation in Gaza.
Khan criticized the international community for its inaction against Israeli atrocities, stating, "Those who advocate for animal rights remain silent on the killings of innocent humanity." He pointed out the dangers of division among nations, asserting that fragmented countries are unable to effectively counter their adversaries. "Countries that are divided become weak," he warned.
Nawaz Sharif Commends PM Shehbaz's UN Speech
In a related note, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif commended Prime Minister Shehbaz’s recent speech at the United Nations (UN). He questioned the effectiveness of the UN, stating, "What can we expect from such a United Nations that has failed to implement its resolutions?"
Nawaz Sharif lamented the ongoing silence from the global community concerning the atrocities faced by innocent Palestinians, expressing his dismay over the lack of action and awareness surrounding the humanitarian crisis.
