He highlighted that Saudi Vision 2030 aligns closely with Pakistan's key policy objectives, reinforcing the foundation for mutual growth.
Both leaders reiterated their commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, and economic development.
Prime Minister Sharif referred to a recent visit by a high-level Saudi delegation led by the Saudi Investment Minister, during which several Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed, solidifying the economic partnership.
In addition to economic discussions, the two leaders expressed deep concern over the ongoing Israeli aggression in the region, acknowledging the severe destruction it has caused.
Earlier, PM Shehbaz addressing the 8th Future Investment Initiative (FII), the prime minister highlighted the dire situation in Gaza, emphasising that without an immediate cessation of violence, the world would struggle to achieve its developmental goals.
The FII, themed “Infinite Horizons: Investing Today, Shaping Tomorrow,” attracted notable figures to deliberate on investments in key sectors, including artificial intelligence, robotics, education, energy, finance, healthcare, and sustainability.
PM Sharif's candid observations underscored Pakistan’s concerns regarding the escalating crisis in Gaza, drawing attention to the need for international cooperation in promoting peace.
