In light of security precautions, the entry of guests into today’s National Assembly session has been strictly prohibited. Only those media representatives who have been issued full session press gallery cards by the Directorate General of Media, National Assembly Secretariat, will be permitted to enter the Parliament House. The issuance of one-day press gallery cards has been restricted.

No one-day press gallery cards will be issued for today’s session, stated the spokesperson. Camera operators covering the session will be allowed entry through Gate No. 1 based on a pre-arranged list.

Journalists attending the session are requested to carry their press gallery cards. Based on Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq’s ruling, the making of mobile footage or video in the press gallery is strictly prohibited. Security personnel will be present in the press gallery, and any mobile footage will result in confiscation of the device. Reporters are requested to cooperate as before, said the spokesperson.
