SENETOR RUBINA KHALID MEETS NADRA CHAIRMAN LT. GEN. MUHAMMAD MUNIR AFSAR
Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Senator Rubina Khalid, met with NADRA Chairman Lt. Gen. Muhammad Munir Afsar today to discuss the importance of issuing Form B to BISP’s women beneficiaries and requested enhanced access to other essential NADRA-related services for them.
In response, Chairman NADRA assured Senator Rubina Khalid of NADRA’s full support in providing these essential services to BISP’s deserving women beneficiaries. Senator Rubina Khalid also informed Chairman NADRA about the study tour of a high-level delegation from West African countries, visiting BISP from November 11 to 14. She extended an invitation to Chairman NADRA to attend the closing ceremony scheduled for November 14 in honor of the visiting delegation.

Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Senator Rubina Khalid, met today with Ms. Waheeda Mahesar, Executive Director of SZABIST-ZABTech, at BISP Headquarters. The meeting centered on exploring collaboration opportunities between BISP and ZABTech to provide vocational training aligned with local market demand for deserving women in Sindh and Balochistan.
During the meeting, Senator Rubina Khalid highlighted that Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto once emphasized the value of hard work and the collective role of both men and women in advancing society. She reiterated BISP’s commitment to work with ZABTech on skill training initiatives, mentioning that such efforts would benefit from partnerships with other public and private training institutions as well as support from international donors.
Senator Khalid particularly emphasized the demand for healthcare and nursing sectors internationally, underlining the importance of providing quality-certified training in these fields.
Both parties expressed a shared intent to formalize their partnership by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for vocational training initiatives and setting a future roadmap.
