Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) stalwart Sharjeel Inam Memon on Wednesday flayed the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), saying the efforts are underway to “blackmail” the masses on November 24 (Sunday).
Memon took a jibe at the embattled party, saying, “The government cannot be blackmailed at gunpoint.”
“Staging the protest is not about attacking the Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV) and parliament. It does not mean to attack Radio Pakistan in the guise of the protest,” she stated.
Taking an indirect jibe at the PTI founder, Memon said, “One person has rolled out the culture of using the foul language, which had triggered the mindset of the country’s youth. He taught the country’s youth the way to troll the people on the social media.”
