Chairman of the Prime Minister's Youth Program, Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, stated that the government's initiative, "Meri Chhat Mera Ghar," is a fulfillment of promises made to the public. He emphasized the government's commitment to providing basic facilities to the people and addressing the challenges of climate change. Rana Mashhood expressed these views while distributing cheques to the successful candidates of the "Apni Chhat Apna Ghar" scheme in Babu Sabu, Lahore.

Speaking at the event, Rana Mashhood remarked that the government is utilizing all resources for the development of underdeveloped areas, particularly those in Lahore that lack basic amenities. He highlighted the special package announced by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for these areas, with development work set to begin within the next year. He further praised the "Apni Chhat Apna Ghar" scheme, stating that it is a landmark project, benefiting the people of Punjab, who are expressing their gratitude towards Maryam Nawaz.

Rana Mashhood also discussed the government's efforts to combat climate change, including the launch of the Green Youth Movement by Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif next month. He emphasized the importance of empowering the youth, who will play a key role in addressing environmental challenges. He also spoke about efforts to boost national sports activities, with the revival of departmental sports after the PTI government's discontinuation.

The Chairman congratulated the national cricket team for their recent victory in Australia, praising their efforts and the work of PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi at the grassroots level. Furthermore, he announced that the Prime Minister would soon inaugurate electronic vehicles in Pakistan.

Regarding the economy, Rana Mashhood criticized the previous government's economic policies and claimed that, thanks to the current government's positive measures, foreign investment would soon return to the country. He also noted a decrease in inflation and a drop in the prices of daily essentials.

In response to questions, he reaffirmed that Pakistan would not take orders from any external powers and that elections would be held on time, with the government working with sincerity for the nation's welfare and stability.

On Tuesday, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the National Incubation Center (NIC) Islamabad and SK Club to promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and the startup ecosystem in Pakistan. The signing ceremony, held at the NIC Islamabad, was attended by prominent personalities and industry leaders. The Chief Guest of the event was Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, Chairman of the Prime Minister's Youth Program.

During his address, Rana Mashhood highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship in driving economic development and creating job opportunities, especially for the youth. He mentioned the government’s efforts to support startups, citing initiatives like the National Innovation Award under the Prime Minister's Youth Program, which provides financial and technical assistance to young entrepreneurs.

The MoU outlines key areas of collaboration, including joint incubation programs, mentorship opportunities, access to funding and investment networks, and business development services for emerging startups. The partnership aims to focus on high-impact projects, particularly in sectors like technology, social innovation, and sustainable development.

After the signing ceremony, networking sessions were organized where entrepreneurs had the opportunity to connect with mentors, investors, and potential collaborators. Both organizations expressed their confidence that this partnership would play a significant role in positioning Pakistan as a global hub for innovation and entrepreneurship.

Women Empowerment Through PM Youth Program: Key Opportunities for Women in Pakistan

Chairman of the Prime Minister's Youth Program, Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, stated that the future of Pakistan lies in the hands of its youth, and emphasized that women will be given prominent opportunities under the PM Youth Program. Speaking at the "Women Empowerment Monitoring Program" event at the Higher Education Commission (HEC) on Tuesday, he discussed the government's efforts to empower women through legislative measures, including laws on inheritance rights and preventing violence.

Rana Mashhood emphasized that empowered women play a vital role in national development and that the Higher Education Commission (HEC) is playing an important role in women’s empowerment. He also shared the government's commitment to increasing the participation of women in the PM Youth Program, noting that 186 billion rupees had been distributed to youth since the program's inception in 2013. He announced plans to raise the percentage of women beneficiaries from 11% to 25%.

He outlined that various opportunities are being provided to women in fields such as professional and technical education, hospitality services, and nursing. He emphasized that these initiatives could potentially help send 10 to 15 lakh young men and women abroad, which would contribute significantly to Pakistan's future. The event also featured speeches from the Chairman of HEC, Dr. Mukhtar Ahmad, various university Vice-Chancellors, and other dignitaries.
