Prime Minister Lays Foundation Stones of Serena Chowk and F-9 Projects for Islamabad’s Prosperity and Development
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif initiates Serena Chowk and F-9 projects in Islamabad, aiming for the city’s development and prosperity, with commitments to complete them within months.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed his commitment to complete the Serena Chowk project within two months and the F-9 project within three months, marking the beginning of initiatives aimed at the prosperity and development of Islamabad and its surrounding areas. He emphasized that Islamabad will not only be a symbol of Pakistan but also emerge as an exemplary city globally.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony held on Tuesday at the Jinnah Avenue and Ninth Avenue intersection, and Serena Chowk Convention Centre intersection, the Prime Minister highlighted that these projects signify the start of prosperous plans for Islamabad’s development. He lauded the Interior Minister, the Information and Broadcasting Minister, and other stakeholders, including security agencies, for their efforts in the successful organization of the recent SCO Summit.The Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to Deputy Prime Minister, Interior Minister, and Information Minister for their tireless efforts in beautifying Islamabad and making it a center of attraction for tourists. He further remarked that the F-9 flyover, initially planned for completion within six months, would now be completed in three months, while the Serena Chowk project is scheduled for completion in two months.
Acknowledging the SCO conference as a peaceful and successful event, the Prime Minister praised the Interior Minister and the CDA team for their continuous efforts to enhance Islamabad’s beauty. He commended the Information Minister for working alongside the CDA in the renovation of the Convention Center, ensuring the success of the SCO summit.
Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute to IG Islamabad and credited Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir’s instructions, which enabled Rawalpindi’s 10 Corps and SSG Corps to provide substantial security support. He appreciated the security arrangements, noting that after decades, Pakistan had the honor of hosting significant international dignitaries, including leaders from China and Russia, who appreciated Islamabad’s beauty.The Prime Minister reiterated the commitment to preserve and enhance Islamabad’s natural beauty, making it a destination that local and international visitors can admire year-round. He emphasized that with the city’s natural splendor, Islamabad is poised to become a prime tourist hub and a model city not only for Pakistan but for the world.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also laid the foundation stones for the Jinnah Avenue-Ninth Avenue intersection and Serena Chowk Convention Center intersection.
