Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur claimed on Saturday that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was holding no talks with the establishment.
Speaking to media outside Adiala jail in Rawalpindi, CM Gandapur said, “I have been involved in holding talks with the establishment. The PTI founder had also said that he is ready for the talks.”
CM Gandapur said: “We will stage the big gathering in Swabi on November 9. We will gather at Swabi Interchange on that day. I will give the final call of the protest.”
He maintained: “We will pour onto streets to take our rights back.”
The KP CM made it clear that the public gathering was not postponed but rather the venue had been changed. “It was originally decided to hold the gathering in Peshawar on November 8, but now it will be held in Swabi on November 9,” he added.
“The bogus cases and arrests are not bearable. We will not bear the any improper treatment with the PTI founder,” CM Gandapur stated.
