Chairman of the Prime Minister's Youth Program, Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, has announced that students excelling in the University Olympiad will be provided opportunities at both national and international levels. Speaking at a press conference alongside Chairman HEC Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed on Wednesday, Rana Mashhood emphasized that the program aims to skill 1.5 million youth, creating employment opportunities across various sectors.
He stated, "We are working to promote positive activities in the country. Repeated conspiracies against Pakistan have failed, and the world is now walking alongside Pakistan. Under the Prime Minister’s Youth Program, our focus is on providing education, technical skills, sports, and cultural opportunities to the youth."
Rana Mashhood highlighted that all economic indicators are positive, and inflation is on the decline. He noted that 30,000 athletes from across the country are participating in the University Olympiad.
Expressing gratitude to the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination, HEC, Islamabad Administration, and Police for their cooperation, Rana Mashhood praised the event’s organization.
He added, "Through this Olympiad, we will open doors for young talent, ensuring that their path to success is unobstructed. Our vision is to build a Pakistan envisioned by our forefathers, inspired by Allama Iqbal’s dreams and Quaid-e-Azam’s efforts."
At the event, he also appreciated two special athletes and announced a financial reward of PKR 175,000 each for their specialized motorbikes.
