Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur reaffirmed the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) commitment to achieving "Haqeeqi Azadi" (True Freedom) in the year 2025.
Gandapur’s Address to the Media
While speaking to the media, CM Gandapur stated,
“We will have to bring the actual freedom. Those who have brought the white paper should apprise the masses of their performance.”
Highlighting his achievements since assuming office, Gandapur remarked that he had successfully increased KP's revenue by 44%, challenging other provinces to reveal their performance records.
"Tell us how much revenue Punjab, Sindh, and Balochistan have gathered," he said, criticizing the federal government.
On IMF and Provincial Performance
The Chief Minister emphasized KP's standout performance in meeting International Monetary Fund (IMF) targets, asserting:
“The IMF's only target is us [KP], as we are the only province to complete the given target. All other provinces are facing deficits.”
Addressing the Kurram Incident
Speaking about the Kurram incident, Gandapur acknowledged the region's challenges but assured that efforts were underway to resolve the situation:
“The problems faced by Kurram cannot be addressed in one day. The situation is under control, and we are working towards maintaining law and order.”
He added that agreements were being finalized between the concerned parties to stabilize the area.
Criticism of Political Opponents
Gandapur berated political opponents, accusing them of undermining democracy:
“We will have to get rid of those who have snatched the mandate. Whether it’s us or them in 2025, the people will decide.”
On Imran Khan’s Imprisonment
Expressing support for PTI founder Imran Khan, CM Gandapur said,
“We will be pleased once our leader comes out of jail.”
Conclusion
CM Gandapur's speech reflected the PTI’s resilience and determination to uphold its vision of justice, freedom, and governance, promising a stronger focus on public welfare and accountability in the coming year.
