Despite claims by Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah that sit-ins had been cleared from eight areas of Karachi, protests have resumed in multiple locations, causing widespread disruption across the city.

Police Response
Karachi Police Chief Javed Alam Odho issued a stern warning to protesters, stating:
- "Paralyzing the city's system in the name of protest is unacceptable."
- "Anyone obstructing roads or resisting government authority will face consequences."
Odho emphasized restoring normalcy, ensuring roads are cleared, and providing relief to the city's citizens. However, he assured that police actions would focus on maintaining public order while respecting citizens' rights.
Police Clarification
In a statement, the Karachi Police spokesperson clarified the Police Chief’s remarks, highlighting that:
- The Chief’s intention was not to terminate the sit-ins but to ensure protests do not disrupt public life.
- The statement aimed at balancing the right to protest with maintaining smooth traffic flow.
