Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif resolved on Sunday to take strict action against the miscreants.
According to details, PM Shehbaz held a meeting with Nawaz at Jati Umra. On this occasion, both the leaders discussed the matters pertaining to the national security and political affairs. The premier and Nawaz agreed to hold accountable those who harm national solidarity and vowed to prevent obstacles in the country’s development.
During the meeting, the leaders reviewed the events that transpired on November 26 and deliberated on a possible call for civil disobedience.
They also reached a consensus on consulting government allies and taking them into confidence regarding national matters.
Nawaz congratulated the Prime Minister on the improvement in the country's economic situation, while Shehbaz Sharif briefed him on progress in attracting foreign investment.
The prime minister also presented a report on his recent visit to Saudi Arabia and highlighted developments in securing investments from abroad.
The meeting included an exchange of views on the overall political and economic situation of the country.
Both leaders paid tribute to the soldiers and other martyrs who sacrificed their lives during operations against militants.
Concluding the meeting, they offered prayers at the graves of their parents in Jati Umra.

On the other side, PM Shehbaz held a meeting with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi to review the matters in line with the forthcoming ICC Champions Trophy.
Naqvi briefed the prime minister on developments regarding the tournament. PM Shehbaz acknowledged Naqvi's principled stance on the Champions Trophy and expressed full confidence in his leadership.

“Your position on the Champions Trophy represents the voice of every Pakistani. You have represented the sentiments of 240 million Pakistanis at the ICC. Pakistan's honor comes first, above everything else,” the premier maintained.
