President Asif Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday issued separate messages commemorating the 148th birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and extending greetings to the Christian community on the occasion of Christmas.

Tributes to Quaid-e-Azam

In his message, President Zardari paid glowing tributes to Quaid-e-Azam for his indomitable resolve and visionary leadership that led to the creation of Pakistan. “Through sheer political struggle, Quaid-e-Azam changed the course of history, enabling Muslims to secure an independent homeland,” he remarked.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif hailed Quaid-e-Azam as a leader of extraordinary capabilities whose tireless efforts turned the dream of Pakistan into reality. “What many thought was impossible became possible due to the determination of the Father of the Nation,” the premier stated.
