Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Presides Over an Important Meeting on Evacuation of Pakistanis from Lebanon
The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) held an important meeting under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif regarding the evacuation of Pakistanis from Lebanon. The meeting focused on the progress of the evacuation plans and the coordination efforts for the safe return of citizens from Beirut.
According to the briefing, Pakistani nationals who arrived in Beirut from Lebanon will be flown back to Pakistan via a chartered flight on the night of December 12 and 13, 2024. The flight will bring back the stranded Pakistanis to their homeland as part of the ongoing evacuation operation.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif delegated the responsibility of welcoming the returning citizens at the airport to Federal Minister for Planning, Ahsan Iqbal. Minister Iqbal will oversee the arrangements for the safe reception of the passengers.
