Pakistan and Tajikistan have reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing collaboration in key sectors such as land connectivity, energy, education, and agriculture. Tajik Energy Minister Dalir Juma met with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad to discuss these priorities.
The meeting highlighted significant projects, including CASA-1000, with both sides expressing satisfaction over the progress achieved. The Prime Minister commended the fruitful discussions held during the Pakistan-Tajikistan Joint Commission and acknowledged the growing cooperation between the two nations in diverse fields.
Reflecting on his visit to Tajikistan and recent meetings with Tajik President Emomali Rahmon in Riyadh and Baku, the Prime Minister expressed his best wishes for the Tajik leader. He also hoped that President Emomali Rahmon would visit Pakistan soon to further solidify the bilateral ties.
The Prime Minister lauded the agreements and memorandums of understanding signed during his visit to Tajikistan, emphasizing their implementation as a cornerstone for strengthening mutual relations.
