The Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar met with Turkey's Presidential Head of Communications, Professor Fahrettin Altun, in Istanbul to discuss various avenues for enhancing collaboration between the two nations.
The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation in the media sector, promoting public diplomacy, combating Islamophobia and misinformation, exchanging media delegations, and developing joint productions. To streamline collaboration, both parties decided to form a working group between Pakistan's Ministry of Information and Turkey's Directorate of Communications, with focal persons to be nominated from each side.

The Federal Minister extended an invitation for Professor Altun to visit Pakistan, further cementing the cooperative ties between the two countries.
