ISLAMABAD – The federal government has announced an increase in petrol and diesel prices, effective from January 1, 2025.
As per the latest revision, petrol prices have been raised by Rs 0.56 per litre, while the price of high-speed diesel has surged by Rs 2.96 per litre.
The Ministry of Finance issued an official notification confirming the updated fuel prices. The price of petrol now stands at Rs 252.66 per litre, while high-speed diesel rates have reached Rs 258.34 per litre.
This adjustment in fuel prices is aimed at stabilizing costs amid fluctuations in international oil markets and ongoing domestic economic challenges.
