Terrorist Attack on Jaffer Express: PTI Echoes Enemy Narrative

Pakistan has been fighting terrorism for two decades, with security forces making immense sacrifices. Civilians have also suffered, especially in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, where foreign-backed militants continue their attacks. While Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's weak governance has contributed to rising threats, Balochistan’s insurgency is fueled by hostile agencies supporting the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) to disrupt major projects like CPEC.

Terrorists attacked the Quetta-to-Peshawar Jaffer Express, taking passengers hostage. Security forces launched a swift clearance operation, successfully rescuing 155 hostages. Heavy gunfire ensued, resulting in 27 terrorists being killed and several others injured.

The shocking part is how the BLA claimed responsibility, first announcing it through their social media handles. Indian intelligence-linked accounts amplified it, followed by PTI’s social media pages, which used the same wording as BLA and RAW. This raises a serious question—how did PTI have access to such specific information from an isolated location with no communication networks? Instead of supporting national security forces, PTI spread enemy propaganda, undermining Pakistan’s counterterrorism efforts.

Adding to this, PTI founder Imran Khan issued a statement from Adiala Jail, subtly justifying the terrorists' actions rather than condemning them. His claim that terrorism was wiped out during his tenure is false, as his government released and accommodated terrorists, leading to today’s security challenges. While all other political leaders stood in solidarity with security forces, PTI chose to align with the attackers, fulfilling the enemy's narrative.

The BLA’s latest attack demands a full-scale military operation to dismantle their networks and eliminate their supporters, including those indirectly aiding them through propaganda. The nation stands with its security forces to restore peace, ensuring that terrorist groups like the Majid Brigade of BLA are completely wiped out.
